Need Content Inspiration? Look to the Stars

In the lobby of our local yoga studio, a friend and I were discussing the moon phase, the astrological season, and how wowed we were with all the correspondences we were seeing in our personal lives and current events lately.

“I’m telling you, it’s the perfect timing for that right now. It’s Virgo Season!”

Another friend chimed in with her opinion on the topic.

“I don’t need to look at astrology. I’m almost forty years old! I know myself already.”

(“Typical Leo,” I thought to myself.)

Sure, some folks “don’t believe in” astrology. Some, because of religious beliefs actively “do not look to the stars” to make life decisions. I’d agree with these positions — and I’d describe myself as super big into astrology. The difference? I’m not superstitious. My use of astrology is as a non-predictive helping tool. Let me explain.

As someone who has worked in content creation for over twenty years now, I know firsthand how challenging it can be to come up with fresh, exciting ideas on a regular basis. As content creators, it’s one of our biggest challenges! It’s easy to fall into a rut (a.k.a. writer’s block) or start feeling like it’s all been done.
